Welcome Juggalos! I hope you enjoy my page as I tell you about the most hated band in the world, the INSANE CLOWN
POSSE.
Insane Clown Posse consists of two members and they are Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler. Bruce is known as “Violent J”; he was born on April 28th of 1972 in the outskirts
of Detroit. Joe
Bruce grew up in a poor environment with his mother, sister, and brother Rob (Jumpsteady). Never did he hate the way he was
raised. Joseph Utsler, also know as, “Shaggy 2 Dope” was born in
Detroit
on October 13th 1975. Utsler also grew up in a poor family. He lived most
of his life on the streets of Detroit. There is little known about shaggy; he’s
quiet and very serious. When J was about 7, Rob was around the age of 8 in Suburban Berkley, Michigan, in the backyard of
their house. Rob caught a giant butterfly. It wasn't one of the little
ones, it was the huge one. They wanted to keep it, but they know they couldn’t,
so Rob and Joe decided to let it spend the night with them and let it go first thing in the morning. When they woke up the
next morning to let their friend go, they came to see that he died over night. So
they buried the butterfly, Joe and Rob made a vow to each other: When they die
they will go to heaven and apologize face to face to the butterfly.
Joe Bruce and Joe Utsler went to school with each other and became good friends.
They both dropped out of school in ninth grade. They were known as floobs
in school, everyone hated them. Floobs are lower class scrubs. They never made good grades in school. After they dropped out of school in 1980’s, they joined a
gang, ICP (Inner City Posse). As a teen, drop out, Violent J released his first
album Intelligence and Violence with D-lyrical. Then along with Shaggy 2 Dope and John Kichass, they released Dog
Beats.
They decided to wear make-up for the
dark carnival, although they are clowns. The make-up is for the juggalos, and
one reason I think that they wear it is that they are so ugly. They also wear the face paint to prove they don’t
need to see what someone looks like to like them.
In 1992 the First Jokers Card was released,
The Carnival of Carnage. The album sold 17 copies on its release date. The Album featured many other artists such as Esham, Jumpsteady, Nate the Mack, Capitol
E, and Kid Rock. The album received good local response. During the era of the first jokers card, ICP released and EP called "Beverly Kills 50187".
The year 1994 ICP released the Second
Jokers Card, The Ringmaster. This card drew more attracting than Carnival of Carnage.
During the era of The Ringmaster, Jive Records came to ICP and want them to sign a record deal with them. They also released many samplers and two EP CDs called Terror Wheel, and A Carnival Christmas
under Jive Records.
As time went on ICP was starting to
come closer with this next album, The Riddlebox was released in 1995. This
is the third jokers card; they also released another EP called "Tunnel of Love".
After the release of Riddlebox ICP left Jive Records and signed to Hollywood Records, which was owned by Walt Disney.
The fourth jokers card was a frightful
era: in 1997 they released The Great Milenko. This album also featured a few other singers too, Slash from Guns-n-Roses
and Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols. Walt Disney released the fourth jokers
card. The album was on the store shelves for an hour and then Disney pulled it
of the shelves. Walt Disney said the album was not suitable for family and children.
So they left Hollywood Records and signed back to Island records and re-released The Great Milenko album for the second time. Also release Shockumentary and Forgotten Freshness Volume 1 & 2. While Joe Bruce was in the mental institution for a panic attack, the milenko album when platinum. After
J was released from the hospital, J and Shaggy meet up with a group known as the House of Krazees. The group consists of Mr. Bonez and Hektic. Then became Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child, they were now
know as Twiztid.
1999 the Insane Clown Posse released
a double joker card. The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, which is the 5th
card. This album featured Snoop Dogg and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The album hit number on the billboard charts. They performed
at Woodstock in ’99 with Krayzie Bone, Twiztid, Coal Chamber, and Biohazard. This
jokers card went platinum also. This is the era the gathering was performed. They also made their first full length movie called Big Money Hustlas. This
era was big they released a lot of stuff like the double CD called Bizzar Bizaar, Forgotten Freshness Volume
3, The Pendulum, and Hatchet History. Hatchet History
contains 10 years of different music that they made.
For 8 months the dark carnival went
into hiding. No one knew where they were or what they were up to. All anyone could do is wait. While in hiding the Dark Lotus
group was developed and released the first album.
Being released in two parts, new look
and fresh, in 2002 ICP released the first part, The Wraith Shangri-la. This
joker card is the card of death; he gives you the death touch and sent you there. One
year later the second half of the album will be released. The Wraith Hells
Pit, these albums hit high on the billboard charts. These albums also revealed
all the secrets. Released by Violent J the wizard of the hood and his autobiography
Behind the Paint. They dropped all secondary record labels and ran all
the way with their own, psychopathic records.
May 17, 2005 the wicked clownz are
ready to drop another album since the hellz pit album in august of last year. The
title of their next ablum is The Calm. What happens after The Calm
is all purely speculation.
